In honor of the rainsoaked Midwest and East Coast today, here's a little color to brighten your day.

There's nothing like a pair of classic Hunter Wellies. These purpose-driven Brit boots have been around since the early 19th century and have kept the numbers's feet dry ever since.

Great for men, women and children, they harken us back to our playful roots when a little rain didn't hurt anybody.

We can thank AT&T for taking this underground fashion trend into the mainstream. And this time around, it's for the best.

TOMS are the driving force behind Blake Mycoskie's dream of covering the feet of poverty-stricken children all over the world. For every shoe purchased, a child in need will also receive their own pair of TOMS.

Since it's inception in May 2006, TOMS has given over 90,000 shoes to children throughout South America and Africa.

The design of the shoe is rather simple. Based on a traditional Argentine shoe, TOMS consist of a single-pice sole, and a piece of fabric wrapped and sewn over the top of the foot. I got my first pair this past Christmas and have found them incredibly comfortable and novel. Easy on, easy off....much like a certain other shoe alternative, but way more fashionable!

They come in a wide range of colors and patterns for both men and women. But, the coolest ones are the TINY TOMS!!! So adorable! To think that while my beautiful, blonde son plays in the lush grass of Mid-America, a little boy is kicking a soccer ball in the dirt and gravel of South America, it's the least I can do to cover his bare feet.

I encourage you to visit their website, www.tomsshoes.com, enjoy the coolness of their design, and impact the feet of children all over the world.

Looks like we've got ourselves a trend!

We're starting to see this 'bold geometric' look from a few different designers. Definitely a step up from humor tees for the frat boys!

I've been a long-time fan of the collection of watches at Tokyo Flash. Not for anything more than the sheer creativity and interest of the products. I never thought it could be so difficult to tell time, but these designers sure try!

These watches are the epitomé of Japanese design. Metal, colored plastic, flashing lights...not that much different from the view of downtown Tokyo.

So, what's the point? Why make something so UNfunctional? The more you think about it, couldn't the same be said for some of the other technology of our day? The iPod? It's built on commonsense, but at first glance, the limited navigational tools may be confusing until you begin to use it and make it your own. I think the same can be said for these watches. Once you begin to use it on a daily basis, it becomes natural.

Yes, they're flashy and creative and will definitely start a conversation on your Tube ride home. But,the timelessness (yea, a little pun) of a nylon-strapped Timex Military Watch (and it's ability to go with anything) would be my choice any day. (eye candy below)

Crop leggings have hit high fashion. LOVE IT!
See the whole show here.

New seasons bring new colors, new moods, and old traditions. And fashion follows.

When the winter months roll in, there's nothing better than a mug of mulled wine in front of the fire under a cozy blanket. Hm, interesting how we see dark reds and thick knit textures popping up on the shelves during that same time!

But why are we talking about cold winter??? It's spring! And our dear, colorphile friends at PANTONE have given us the Spring 2009 version of their seasonal treat: The Fashion Color Report.

We all need a splash of color after the grey-toned winter. Spring is the time that we begin to hope. And PANTONE doesn't think designers will disappoint.

This spring should prove to display muted greens and pinks with blasts of bold colors coming from Palace Blue and Super Lemon. A subtle Slate Gray will pair wonderfully with a combination of a muted and a bold.

Keep your eyes out in stores for this set of 'smiley' colors.

You can find PANTONE's entire collection of current and past trend reports here.

Here it is. Post #1. Generally regarded as the most awkward and boring post of the blog.

So, we'll just get it over with. You're not here to listen to us. You're here because a great shirt is enough to stop you in your tracks. And 'WHO are you wearing?' has replaced 'hello' in your daily dialog.

We're working hard to give you the best online shopping experience we can. Until then, we'll document our progress here in addition to quick updates on Twitter.

We'll post the latest happenings in the fashion world and some other interesting things along the way. So, for now, add us to your daily stop, tell your friends, and check back often. There will be something new to see soon!
